You mentioned previously that you had dealt with black knight web services and
found them good. A friend of mine is interested in setting up a retail website
and has been shopping around and has got ridiculous prices from the guy who
thinks he knows it all to the professionals who want 10k. I would imagine that
the main content being a retail website is the fact that there will have to be
a linked catalogue of price listts in relation to products, a search engine
marker for the website so that it will appear in optimium searches by consumers
and a payment system. If you know of any individuals who have experienced a
similar situation I'd be grateful for any info. Some of the web developers who
offer to provide a billing system actually want a percentage for providing the
billing system from the turnover, I supose this is expected but one would have
thought an annual service fee would have been more to the point, although they
would have lost out in the event that the sales got quite big.
