Hi Eamonn,
glad you had luck with the instructions!
I'll have to be content with just listening to tunes on this old machine
until I get my new stuff! I won't know myself when I get it!
*smiles*

Subject: [vicsireland] cd ripping with WMP - update

Hi folks,

Thanks to Tony's instructions, I ripped a talking book of 5 cds last
night.

I couldn't find how to start the ripping process, so I chose the
"start automatically once cd is inserted" option. This worked very nicely.
Of course, i must remember to disable it, the next time I jus want to
listen to, rather than rip, a cd!

As regards viewing or listening to media, Winamp is my default player. I
think Sabrina asked earlier, about ripping with WMP, if another player is
your default, so it appears to be possible. I'm assuming here that my
default player is still Winamp!

Perhaps I should clarify here, that I opened WMP first, and then inserted
the cd.

Philip: your suggestion of a pint is a good one - maybe after the VICS
AGM?

Tim: Thanks for your piece on the TV Access Campaign - really good to see
VICS and CFIT involved with other groups, as strength in numbers is always
a good thing.

Regards,

Eamonn
