Audio description's hard to boil down. I just said it was a soundtrack accompanying the programme which provides input about what's happening on screen. If it was a news piece, they have very little room. My piece was a 1500word feature, which gives you a lot more scope. Paul's advice is spot on. You have a great deal of power to decide how you want to be seen. Journalists are in a hurry and will swallow whatever is put in front of them, particularly if you're articulate and concise in your points.
