Hi Derbhile,

Might I be so chheeky as to request that you might consider posting your PC
Live article to the list or to the site?

Well done!

If you can describe what you want to say in one line, you're laughing. Audio
description's hard to boil down. I just said it was a soundtrack accompanying
the programme which provides input about what's happening on screen.

If it was a news piece, they have very little room. My piece was a 1500word
feature, which gives you a lot more scope.

Paul's advice is spot on. You have a great deal of power to decide how you
want to be seen. Journalists are in a hurry and will swallow whatever is put in
front of them, particularly if you're articulate and concise in your points.

This is the first lesson in the VICS Media Masterclass
