Hi Saul,
I like you was somewhat tentative about using windows 10 interface.
Actually , now that I am accustomed to it, I can't understand why I was so
fussed about using it in the first place. I suppose it had something to do
with the lack of accessibility which many had complained about regarding
edge. The real beauty of windows 10 is that once you press the start
button, and the search box opens,, once you enter the name of a program ,
all reference to it come up in results as you cursor through them, until you
find jaws saying something like "word 2013 app" and I press enter key on it
and the programme opens. Besides that, you should try playing around with
narrator on windows 10 shortcut key :windows key+control +enter key -
activates it and deactivates it. This is very handy if you exit your own
screen reader or are using a different computer.

Hi all
I don't know if the following is of interest. It is off topic from the
question Tim asked, and I haven't checked the accessibility of it (my visual
impairment is short-sightedness).
When I moved to Windows 10, my main issue was their menu. I didn't like it.
I found a utility called OpenShell that makes the Windows 10 menu look/act
like a Windows 7 menu.
More information here https://open-shell.github.io/Open-Shell-Menu/
If the Windows 10 new menu doesn't bother you, then this is not worth it.
Kind regards
Claude

Subject: [vicsireland] changing the Windows explorer view in Windows 10
Hi,
My work laptop has been upgraded to a more recent Windows 10 version.
However, now when in Windows Explorer the items are sorted by day and
week etc.
I want to return to the sorting of the items by date but not divided into
day / week / monthand so on.
Anybody know how I can do this?
Thanks,
Tim
