Hi, eamonn,

Be carefyl with .NET as a download.

The version of .NET that you can run depends on the operating system you are
running.

I'm not certain of the versions, but I think that if you have windows 2000 youu
can only run .NET 2.0. I suggest that you have a good read of the Ms site
before trying to download and install.

Take care,

gerry ellis

  Hi folks,

Has anyone got a link allowing me to download the Micro dot net framework
update, please?

I don't really understand it, but I need it to take advantage of a program
written by a contributer to the Book Port mailing list.

The program, called "ol2bp," allows you to copy emails and contact info from
Outlook Express to the Book Port.

Apparently, net framework is a windows XP update, but I don't have it,
inspite of being set to automatically download and install Windows updates.

I've found links to it on the MS site, but didn't get the usual "save or
open" dialog.

  Thanks,

  Eamonn
