I had this problem during the week too, on my laptop in work.
Having observed some of the responses that came into you, I am using JAWS 9.0
and a laptop. However I do have a USB Keyboard. With mine it was the numbers
across the top - directly above the letters - that were not being announced
properly. One - five were okay but six - the key directly to the left of back
space were all coming out as grav. When I pressed the back space on them it
would call out the character that was there though. I do remember having this
problem before but only with two letters/numbers.
I was using MS Word at the time and MS Outlook.
