Hi Joan Anne! You probe an open wound there. I did manage once to buy myself tickets, but it's so long ago, I can't remember how I did it. However, another time I got to that site for vision impaired users. This resulted in my having to fill in an online order form with my requirements. The idea was that I would be contacted about my booking. What infuriated me, was that I had to select my disability from a drop down list, so that the appropriate seating arrangements could be made for me. Which means that if I as a blind person want to go to a concert, I can't just get a ticket and mingle with the crowd, I have to go to a separate area for disabled people. It was also pointed out that not all venues might be able to accommodate disabled people. Does that mean I can't go if they haven't got a place to contain me in? Oh give me strength! I managed to find the concert but when it came to booking the tickets, I was brought to a screen that asked me to type the word that was shown which of course, I couldn't do. It then brought me to a page for people with special needs and told me to ring the number to book tickets. I am just wondering if anyone using jaws has had success booking tickets on-line using ticket master? Thanks Joan Ann.
