Hi all,
I have been using Yoshimi in my music studio for two to three years now
and have found the Solo functionality a bit limiting. After working with
the Solo feature on my Roland I felt that it would help immensely if
Yoshimi had similar solo functionality. To that end I cracked open the
source package for my distribution of choice and implemented it. This
was done for version 1.5.6 for the Ubuntu Studio package. I know that it
is a tad behind and my changes would need to be folded into 1.7.1 for
upstream adoption. I can do that work if the team is interested in the
patches. I'll spare you the gory details of the functionality for now,
but let me know if you are interested. I am happy to explain how it
works and what changes it requires.
