what is the optimum script to use to startup Yoshimi on pi rasberry, ie
what parameters should one use if any, and does anyone have a clear
explanation of the different parameters.
ex:
yoshimi -J -K -a
.
Also if I dont want Yoshimi to ask to save when exiting what do I do?

I've just tested this on a Pi 4, and it worked perfectly with just
'yoshimi' in
qjackctl Options->Execute script after Startup
As I believe someone else asked, have you also set:
Misc->Start JACK audio server on applicatiopn startup
If this still fails, there must be something odd about your entire setup.
I believe you are working with Ubuntu, whereas I'm using Rasbian, so maybe
Ubuntu doesn't have something quite right.
