I found some more useful flags  in the latest zyn make files... i think they 
make a reasonable difference....
 -mfloat-abi=hard -mfpu=neon -mcpu=cortex-a15 -mtune=cortex-a15 -pipe 
-mvectorize-with-neon-quad -funsafe-loop-optimizations 

onward and upward....
