I think I wasn't too clear. The possible problem I see is that (unless I'm
mistaken) pitch tracking relates to the incoming note number. Currently I
think there is almost a 1:1 relationship. If this becomes 2:1 would this cause
pairs of notes to be closer together?
On Monday, at work I'll have access to a modern digital 'scope so if I have
time, I'll do some experiments and try to see what is really happening. This
could actually be quite difficult when measuring a band of noise!

I could be quite wrong - it has been known to happen:)
This is now in the current master. The only change I made to Jörn's code was to
change the associated variable names to freqtrackoffset, as this describes
exactly what it now does.
Along with crossfade this is the second enhancement we have made to the actual
voices. However to allay any concerns, both of these are completely backwards
compatible and default to the unused state.
