I finally pinned down that bug with Echo & Distortion having the wrong defaults
for l/r cross. My guess is that they were the victim of the dangers of
copy/paste.
This control is used hidden by some of the other effects so has an overall
default value, but for these two specific effects it is different, and these
are independently set by just those effects. However, when I tracked them down,
the values were the same as the overall default!
When changing presets within an effect the values are obtained differently, as
groups from byte arrays. It's this code I modified so I could get individual
ones for the 'home' function. Everything now lines up!
Hopefully Frank's build fix will work for everyone. Please do shout if you have
a problem. I especially want this release to be as clean and complete as
possible.
If we can just get those sliders under mouse wheel control that would be the
icing on the cake. It will be the final piece of the puzzle for complete
consistency in the GUI.
