I don't think we've ever got to rc4 before :o
Anyway, there is a fix for a sneaky bug that could eat filenames - Thanks Chris.
Also Rob worked out how to get scroll wheel control of sliders, so that is also
in. The knobs have also been modified so they give similar scroll wheel
behaviour.
There is just one exception - the roller on the virtual keyboard. This is
actually a very strange control. It's sort of like a slider but with the knob
being the entire length of the track. It'll have to wait for another time.
So, to recap for all other controls:
Scroll wheel action gives you quite coarse movement, but hold down the ctrl key
and you get the maximum resolution of the slider or knob. In fact with some of
the frequency controls you'll think nothing is happening until you look at the
numerical box alongside!
A right button click takes the control to whatever its home position is.
Left button drags are the same as the always were, pretty much following the
mouse. If you are holding down the ctrl key you get much finer movement.
Some variations that will have to be worked on later:
Middle button drag on knobs gives quite fine control, and right button control
goes home first, then lets you have fine control on most knobs - not very
useful!
Middle button drag on sliders is exactly the same as left button drag and right
button only ever homes the slider.
That's about it I think. I'll just be looking for bugs now.
