Following up on previous musings ... I've had a go at merging in the midi
restucture
stuff I've been hacking away at over the last six months. I've also got the 32
sample
block processing I mentioned in play. First impression - if I ever get to the
last of
the forty thousand plus segfaults inherent in that process, this one might just
turn
out to a right little screamer.
I'll be honest - I'm struggling to hold focus for the sort of disciplined
testing this
sort of stuff requires (brain tumors can do that), and I could use a little
help. Where
I am with it now is rather promising, but I'm not at all sure how to proceed
with regards
to just what locking/protection is actually required during things like
changing effects,
parameters etc, particularly from the gui. I'd love it someone could help me
out here.
What I've got is definitely not release ready, the odd explosion or segfault is
still
highly possible. I'd love it if someone could give it a run, and see if they
can pick up
on anywhere it doesn't behave sensibly, particularly wrt control/params changes.
Any volunteers?
