to just what locking/protection is actually required during things like
changing effects,
parameters etc, particularly from the gui. I'd love it someone could help me
out here.
What I've got is definitely not release ready, the odd explosion or segfault
is still
highly possible. I'd love it if someone could give it a run, and see if they
can pick up
on anywhere it doesn't behave sensibly, particularly wrt control/params
changes.
Any volunteers?
