[yoshimi-user] yosh + pyjacksm vs ArchBang

I've had a good few full days now of fighting computer hardware
breakage, package managers, reporting bugs and breakage all over the
FOSSscape and compiling to finally be able to report on yoshimi 0.60
pre6 w/ pyjacksm and A3 running under Arch(Bang) Linux i686 w/ JACK2-
bstard nightmare!

The good news is that I can actually save and restore A3 and yosh
sessions using pyjacksm in this configuration to some degree although
there are still major problems with this:

1- yoshimi still isn't quitting when I choose 'Quit Session' from
jacksmtray- in fact it seems to stop A3 quitting too. A3 and bristol
both quit fine when using that menu option and yoshimi isn't running
too.

2- If I load a session w/ yoshimi in it, change the instrument a part
uses, choose 'Save Session' from pyjacksm then reboot (this is what I
have to do to ensure a session gets reloaded nicely due to yoshimi not
quitting with the session nor pyjacksm being able to end a session
when all apps involved are individually quit) then load the session
again it will still have the original instrument setting instead of
the new voice I chose just before the save.

Arch prob makes a slightly better distro for jack dev than Debuntu as
you can replace jack for an svn version without bullying/breaking the
package manager. I hear jack2 is standard in SUSE these days though so
that may make things even easier. I always appreciated YAST but suse
seems massively bloated and bulky compared to Debian and even moreso
against Arch.
