Someone might like to follow up on this.

Hello Will,

I received a patch from the OP of that thread so if people are willing
to test I should be able to set something up.

I noticed this (not just for log envelope) but didn't think of it as a
bug-- I almost always have some reverb on anyway which masks it
anyway. It seems good to fix that but as jackoo says, the envelope
lengths break. I started thinking about having the synths simply
modify the release time on load so that the envelope reached 0.01 at
the former end time but then it keeps getting longer and longer every
time you load in between saves. Then I was thinking about how Blender
leaves all backward compatibility in the hands of the loader, so I
checked... instruments have version numbers, so <ZynAddSubFX-data
version-major="1" version-minor="1"> could get a minor increment and
the automatic release time recalculation could be safely done and
saved if that was < 1.2.

Any thoughts?

Hi Rob,

Sorry for the late reply. According to jackoo this patch might break older sounds so I'm not going to apply it as is. I'm open for any other options of course.

Jeremy
