This is something I really was hoping someone would back-port to the

Had I been able to do the presentation at LAC this was something I was
going to
mention in the Q&A at the end of the session to see if we could maybe pick
up
an interested dev.

I'm really very frustrated about not being able to get there at all:(

I'm even more frustrated about not being able to do any of the coding
myself :((

Hi Will,

Yeah real bummer that you can't go :( And I'd really like the MIDI stuff
to be backported too, but just like you, I can't code. I'll promote and
advertize Yoshimi the best I can at LAC2013 and we'll see what comes out
of it.

Hi again... I checked on this repo and it had the same linking problem
as the master branch. So, I went looking for the messages and found a
patch from the Debian tracker which didn't apply but I made the
changes by hand and then made another patch, which applies to both the
midiLearn branch from licnep and master branch from sf.net, and things
work again. I hadn't yet played with the learning functionality and
while it's apparently limited to ADsynth, it seems pretty nice. I'll
have a closer look to see if it's easily separable from the major
changes away from 0.060.
