FYI I'm currently using Ubuntu 10.4 and Rosegarden 10.2 qt 4.6.1 that
came with Ubuntu and that runs fine.

For historical reasons (of currently questionable validity!) I build qt
myself rather in preference to using the over-bloated distro packages.
Sadly I'm getting the same outcome with the last three qt versions ...
and each qt build takes around 90 minutes :-(.

Ah, those hysterical raisins again :)

required version of yoshimi but playing a full orchestral score on a
1.7G Athlon RG only uses 30 % of the cpu max!

On debian (and by inference, ubuntu) the sqlite packages of interest are
libsqlite3-0 and libsqlite3-dev.

Debian (squeeze at least) installs libsqlite by default so you only need to add
the .dev package.

Say you have a poem and I have a tune.
Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
