doesn't do midi controlled bank/program changes. The long answer is that
they're a work in progress in 0.062.xxx. As at 0.062-pre8 they were
moderately functional if I recall correctly.

That's a relief!
I haven't looked at them since the Heffalump, and thought I'd wait till you
were able to get to look at the new version again.
Working on it again, and I've got it to where I think I've incorporated all (?)
the positive refinements of the heffalump saga. I'm trying to get instrument
management under control, currently trying to convert the clipboard/preset stuff
in instrument editing from xml files to database storage. I'm not sure just how
much they're actually used in practice, but I figure if it worked well it should
be useful?
Suggestions for forward progress are welcome. Midi learn is gradually becoming
more interesting, but I'm still a long way off getting my head around how it
best fits.
