Hi, The 802.11B gives you 11MBPS over the link, the 802.11G gives you 54MBPS over the link. I will leave it up to you to decide whether you need to fork out for the new hardware. Thanks. I will shortly be upgraded to the NTL 2 Meg cable broadband. I currently have a Belkin 802.11b wireless router connected to the set top box and all works nicely. Will the 11 Mbps of the wireless network cope ok with the two and a half times speed increase in the broadband connection? Basic question I suppose is do I need to upgrade to an 802.11G setup to make use of the increase in broadband speed?
