Andrew,

Thanks for your thoughts but cable connection is not an option in my house.
I am just wondering if the 2 meg upgrade is going to be worth it.  I could
drop to the 1 meg  service and gain speed and pay less.  If the wireless
becomes a bottleneck for the 2 meg then this would be a cheaper option than
upgrading to the g wi-fi without a doubt.

Mark,

Wireless is fine for reading the mail in the sitting room on the
laptop, but personally you would be better connecting your machine on
a wire for serious use.
