Ar so it could be my £7 pair of headphones then.

Hi Chris -

I find the actual volume power in headphones is determined by the make of
headphones itself, cheaper ones are usually less powerful; I'm using my
Senheizer cordless set, and until a couple of days ago, all was well, so
it's not that they are not loud enough, it's that most of the sound has
drifted across to the left side, not much good when listening to music or
streems from the web, so you can perhaps apreciate , that bunging in a
hearing aid for me isn't going to fix this one. I can say too, that it
doesn't seem to be a wiring problem for the headphone socket, as there is
some sound in the right hand channel, but not very much! -

Andy
