Hi Carol,
First, there are a couple of subscriptions. I believe one is $14.95, the
other is $19.95, but I am not exactly sure of the differences. I go for the
$19.95, which gives me two free audio books per month. The other thing you
can do is to buy books as you want them, and not subscribe at all. This is
more expensive, but you can do it.
As for the Book Courier, yes, all navigation features are there, since
Courier natively supports Audible. The other ways to listen to Audible, are
on another Audible Player, such as the Audible Otis, not recommended, since
it isn't all that accessible, or the Book Courier, which does the same
thing, and is completely accessible, or the Audible Manager, which is on
your PC. You need the manager, whether you play books on it or not, since
the Manager is what is used to download the books. There is no other way to
download the books, since the Manager verifies your authenticity.

Hi All,
I have been looking at
www.audible.com
Can those of you who use it please let me know whether you can make use
of all the features of Book Courier with AUDIBLE books, in other words,
whether they are properly formatted for this? In addition, are there
any other easy ways to read these books? Finally, I didn't find
anything about a subscription. Is this because there isn't one but you
pay for most books downloaded? I'd be grateful for any further
information you can give me on or off list.
