** File was empty ** The description of "having problems with spam" isn't quite accurate. Unfortunately the account has been compromised and is being used for sending spam. Somehow the password used for the account has been found. There is a method for reclaiming a hacked account but I cannot remember how to go about it. One for google there. An important note, if you find one of your email accounts or any other online account for that matter, appears to have been used by someone else or in a way that you are sure wasn't you change the password immediately and if you use the same password for other things change them too. He then wrote back to me as follows: "Looks like I still have a spam problem, but additionally to that I cannot sign into my account anymore thru the conventional way via my desktop, I can sign into my account thru the web. I'm no tech head so was wondering if you could advise me how to fix it. I can sign in thru the desktop in any other account but not thru my account. I guess that reinstalling my windows live messenger would do the trick..but how would I go about that.. there is also a error code 8e5e044e I've tried all fixes from internet none any good..." can anyone suggest any solutions I can pass on please? Would Barry Toner's suggestions for solving John Farley's problem also be of use to my friend?
