Well all we know is that she can just connect the Ethernet cable to the
laptop and it should work. The router and Ethernet port; that's already done
when she first got BT a few months ago.

She doesn't need to use the software on the cd. As long as she knows how to
access the router, there shouldn't be an issue.

Regards.

Hello all,
My friend will be getting a new laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium this
coming week. She's currently with the above provider. Does she require the
software they give you or can she just plug in the Ethernet cable and get
internet access right away?
Just want to be safe and sorry.
Thank you very much. Take care.
From Chris.
