Hi Damon, we have had a Compaq laptop for two years and touch wood no trouble
at all. We are using Windows XP on it , but it will be okay with Vista. I
also have a Compaq desk top PC which is also very good.

Am considering buying a Compaq laptop which seems to have everything I need in
it at 350 pounds.
Has anyone any particularly good or bad experiences with the Compaq brand? Any
recommendations? Or should I steer clear in your experience?
Am using it mainly for surfing the web and am going to plump for Vista Home
Basic.
Thoughts appreciated.
