I've had several Compaq's in the past, including this one. I've currently got
a Compaq pavilion dv1000, which is like sh.. off a shovel in terms of speed.
All the Compaq's I've had have never had any issues with adaptive technology,
and all seem to have really good quality speak sound, especially good when
using jfw.
Very reliable.

Am considering buying a Compaq laptop which seems to have everything I need
in it at 350 pounds.
Has anyone any particularly good or bad experiences with the Compaq brand?
Any recommendations? Or should I steer clear in your experience?
Am using it mainly for surfing the web and am going to plump for Vista Home
Basic.
