My son has had one for nearly 3 years with no problems at all. However his
youngest son pulling it off the table didn't do it a lot of good but it still
works after a fashion. Not the fault of Compaq you'll appreciate.

Am considering buying a Compaq laptop which seems to have everything I need
in it at 350 pounds.
Has anyone any particularly good or bad experiences with the Compaq brand?
Any recommendations? Or should I steer clear in your experience?
Am using it mainly for surfing the web and am going to plump for Vista Home
Basic.
