Hi Pele -

Well it's certainly true that I have found several discs that the PTR1 just
doesn't like, and won't play, including an RNIB daisy title, I think for the
cost of this machine, it really should perform less temprementally. I take
it you've been able to play other discs of the same brand on the PTR1?

Are you able to put the book on to a flash card and see if that plays in the
PTR1?

I imagine the problem to be with the player itself, as you said the cd
played ok on your computer, this has been my experience too with some
discs! -

| Hi Andy
|
| I have checked and it says 128kBit. There is no mention of variable bit
rate.
|
| Just to see what happened I converted the book from Audible to .WAV and
then MP3. It still does not work.
