Thanks Philip for this. Is it safe to just select fixx all after doing the registry scan, as the registry won't make any sense to me, it's teritory I always felt advised to avoid messing in! Is doing a back up really necessary? The clean part of ccleaner remmoves what it thinks ar unwanted | files, such as emptying the recycle bin and temp. internet files, that's why | you recovered so much disc space. | Tab to registry then tab to scan for issues and it will then scan for | registry issues and report. You can then fix, fix all and also make a back | up before fixing. | | Hope this helps | Philip | ----- Original Message ----- | From: "Andy Collins" <andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> | To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> | Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2008 10:35 PM | Subject: [access-uk] Re: RegCure registry cleaner | | | > Hi Philip - What I found with RegCure, was that out of the 936 errors it | > said it found, it would only clean out 14 of them, unless I bought the | > full | > version.
