Going on past experience myself, I'd say there was a good change that it would.

Thanks George,
do you know if I would be able to use my windows 7 when this Imac is no-longer
in service? Please note, I bought windows 7 separately to install on this Imac.

Thank you

Ali

Your hesitancy about Windows 8 is wise. (Thankfully Windows 10 is looking more
like 7)

You can still buy legal copies of Windows 7, primarily used to re-cycle older
PCs, but still a full, legal version.

Subject: [access-uk] Desktop replacement

Hi all,
once again, my old Imac is having screen/display issue. Last time it was fixed
by some thumps, but, this time the magic thump is not working. I will be
opening it up to see if I can find the loose cable/connection.

However, I have a feeling it is time to replace the entire system now. I am
little hesitant to go over to windows 8 as I have to upgrade several of my
software. I was wondering if anyone could recommend windows 7 laptop or a
desktop computer?

Thank you

Ali
