Hmm, have u seen betas then? Nice if windows ten is looking like seven, why ms put a tablet os on pcs I will never get my head around. I know the reason, it's apple, but why migrate something made for the surface pro to a pc format where it would fail due to peple liking their keyboards? -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of George Bell Sent: 13 January 2015 17:03 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Desktop replacement Your hesitancy about Windows 8 is wise. (Thankfully Windows 10 is looking more like 7) You can still buy legal copies of Windows 7, primarily used to re-cycle older PCs, but still a full, legal version. Last time it was fixed by some thumps, but, this time the magic thump is not working. I will be opening it up to see if I can find the loose cable/connection. However, I have a feeling it is time to replace the entire system now. I am little hesitant to go over to windows 8 as I have to upgrade several of my software. I was wondering if anyone could recommend windows 7 laptop or a desktop computer?
