As far as Dictaphone is concerned, I have recently purchased the Olympus
DS-50 - it is truly superb!

I will let others comment on headphones.

Subject: [access-uk] Digital Recorder and Cordless Headphones

Hi List

Can anyone advise me on the following please.

I am looking for recommendations for a digital recorder for work. At
present I use a dictaphone and it is awkward rewinding back to the end of
messages so not to record over anything you want to keep. Am I right in
thinking that each separate recording is treated as a separate file/track
and can you delete individual files off the disc.

Secondly, I have just tried some old Sony cordless headphones which I have
had for approx ten years at work. the batteries have only lasted three days
and wondered if anyone could recommend some that would recharge overnight.
I seem to remember someone talking about ones which fit back on to the
cradle for charging, I think they may have been Zenheizer. Could you let me
know about battery usage times etc..

Look forward to hearing soon.

Phil
