Hi Carol,

I can't reproduce your bug with Juice here, it plays in Winamp fine for me.
Strange.

The Mics are Sony ECM77's, about 200 quid each, but excellent mics.

As for the Edirol, you can hear a comprehensive review of it on
http://www.blindcooltech.com. Just look for the word Edirol with your JAWS
find, and then download the MP3 file. Rob Meredith has done an excellent
job.

Hi Steve,

Well, an entertaining first effort <GRINS> and thanks for the keyboard
rendering!

I'm playing with the podcast software and have noted that, even though I've
said I want to use WINAMP to play my files and WINAMP is my default anyway,
I'm still only offered to play them with Media Player. Is this a bug, or
what? Of course, I went to the folder in question and played directly from
the file, so I got round it.

If you want to get past podcasts from anywhere, are you given any choice as
to whether you select one or two or do you have to have all or none?

Finally, yep I will make a recording for you when I have a suitable
replacement microphone but haven't found what I like yet. This brings me on
to a question about the clip-ons you were using? Please tell me what they
are and how you rate them.

Can't wait to hear more about this Edirol and how blind friendly it really
is, not to mention the quality etc.

I'd best not waffle any more or I'll be thrown out! <SMILE>

Cheers.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, just play them in Winamp.

As for the keyboard, it is just some fun I have at home, I don't do it
professionally, but it keeps me off the streets <Smile>.

Okay, I'm going to My Received Podcasts and opening the files with winamp.
Is this how its done? By the way, Steve, a nice launch. Loved your keyboard
skills.

Peter

Okay, its downloading, but how do I play it?
Hitting enter does nothing.

Hi Peter,

Juice has probably already downloaded the latest episode for you. If not,
just open it from the system tray, and press F5. Did you specify a root
directory where Juice should download all Podcasts? If so, it should put
each Podcast in its own folder, off that root. For example, if you specify
c:\mp3, my shows will appear in c:\mp3\ourplace.

A great job Adam Curry and the guys have done on making Juice accessible.

I hope this helps.
