Alex, that's a doddle. Last night it was the Celtic game against Barcelona on Radio Scotland. Then it was the Arsenal game against AC Milan on Five Live. And my son and I chopped between the various games on Sky, but primarily watched the Arsenal match. Had Sports Extra had the Lyon game on, I'd have had that too. It's fab ... love it. It adds to the atmosphere and enhances my enjoyment. I keep chuntering on about having the Sky Multi-Room facility so I could have two different games on at once, but it's an extra £10 a month, and there aren't enough occasions in a season to justify doing that (smile).
Wait till the Euro 2008 Championships and Wimbledon are on in June ... my various boxes and devices, not to mention my ears, will be working flat out (smile).

JackieI don't know how you managed to listen to all that football, you've only got one pair of ears haven't you. Now what would have it been like if five live sports extra was broadcasting something at the same time as all the others?lol Alex skype name: grytpype2006 windows live messenger name: alex.thynne@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Jackie Cairns Sent: 20 February 2008 11:41 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: Freeview set top boxes Hi David Thanks very much for the useful update. I don't need another box at the moment because I use Sky which has AD turned on, and the Netgem which isstill functioning well. I've also got another ordinary box that I picked up in a sale before our Dixons closed down some years ago. It doesn't have AD,but is useful for occasions like last night, when I needed to have the Champions League on every format I could find. So I had Sky showing the Roma versus Real Madrid game, the Netgem on Scottish TV showing the Liverpool game (still smiling for that one,) and the spare Freeview box onITV 4 for the Olympiarkos versus Chelsea game. Better not forget Five Liveon the radio either ... yeah I know, I'm hopeless (smile.)You say you have a TV with Freeview carrying AD built-in? I know there are a lot of TVs now with the AD facility incorporated, but we haven't got thatfar yet as I'm hoping our current Sony continues to plod for a while. Thanks for that though. You can set the box to beep every time a key is pressed, but I don't think it beeps when it finds a channel broadcasting audio description. I would not have thought that was worth another twenty pounds. I purchased the Logik for my upstairs tv which only has the basic five channels. Downstairs I now have a Panasonic Viera 26 inch set and this onehas a freeview box built in, which does have audio description unlike mostset top boxes. also, you can set this one to have the AD on speakers orheadphones or both or neither. this is a good idea if someone in the roomdoes not want to listen to the AD track.
