Thanks David, it is certainly worth bearing that in mind. Young Ian would love a huge TV, but some of them are absolute monsters, and I wouldn't want anything that enormous. Ours is a Sony 25 inch analogue, and it's about 11 years old. We got initial help to set the bass and treble on it through a menu system, and have left it at that ever since. I don't use AD all that much because most of the programmes I watch are related to news and sport, but I would definitely want the facility.

Indeed you can get huge sets now, but I would have to move house to get anything larger than 26 or possibly 32 inches. I got someone to carry outthe installation for me, but the menu system would not be too difficult onceyou know the order of the items within the menu. so, you would need help, but I am sure you could do it with visual assistance from your son.
