Just a quick update on this app. An update has just been released which appears
to have fixed a number of accessibility issues. List view is selected by
default, I think this happens if it detects Voice Over running, buttons seem to
be labelled correctly. I've haven't looked at it too closely, but at first
glance it seems quite a big improvement.

What I'd say is that some text isn't labelled as buttons when if you tap on
them they activate a different screen. Take for example the number of the bus
stops near by, or in-fact in the favourites.

Also, there are buttons which have rather strange titles as read by VO,
Settings Gear, alerts clock and multistars, just to give 3 examples

If you use the map view you can't do anything with VO, but if you select list
view it defaults back to Map view every time you go back into the program.

I do have to say though that the developer whose message to another member was
quoted earlier has been very open minded and we've been in contact several
times to discuss various issues. I think they are really interested in making
the app work as well as possible with VO, which in my view it isn't at the
moment. And it certainly wouldn't fit into my definition of properly accessible.

Hi Dave. The Next Bus Is app still usable as all you have to do is to
tap done on the welcome screen which points you to download the Travel
Line app. As for the new app itself. I can access the list tab at the
bottom of the screen. I can also add stops to favorites and remove
them if I wish. The app also has a new audio feature where it will
tell you when a bus is approaching. I can understand why people are
complaining about not getting the list up and this is probably to do
with the advert at the bottom of the screen but never the less it
still can be accessed. All I'm saying is that I can use the app with
Voiceover only. I've spoken to another list member off-list about
this and he agrees that the app is usable with Voiceover but we did
come to the opinion that accessibility could be improved to make it as
good as the original Next Bus Is app which is my preferred bus app.
