Hi Audrey,

The Iphone 3GS series now come with Voice Over, which gives complete access to
all of the applications on the phone. From what I have heard, there are many
other third party applications which also work with Voice Over.

As you are probably aware, the IPhone is a touch screen device, but from my
initial exploration, it seems very intuitive once you get the hang of it.
Niether of us have one yet, but we're looking into the possibility for the
future.

Many blind people have switched to the IPhone and are very happy with it by all
accounts. The only warning I would give is that like all Apple products, the
IPhone is considerably more expensive than your standard cell phone. But the
initial cost is nothing compared to the gains that you will be getting from an
in-built Screen Reader. If I were you though I would wait for a few more months
though as Apple are slated to release IPhone 4.0 in June. I do not know if this
is purely a software upgrade or a brand new cell phone. If it is the latter,
then the older models may come down in price.

Hope this helps
