Hi BJ,

It all depends how much information you have been asked to enter so far. When you first turn your iPod on, you may have been asked to enter name, email address etc i don't know for certain as i haven't used one or had access to one for a while now. the buyer could just format and use it, if you haven't entered any information for example started to use any apps etc, then it shouldn't matter too much what you leave on there. if you still have itunes installed, you can also format it then sell it.

all the best,

Mo.

Hi chaps,

Don't worry, I'm not trying to use this list to flog something, I just
want some advice before I go on to another list (or Ebay) to sell it.

We have an Ipod Touch, it has barely been used, but we just don't get
on with it. Now, I haven't the time to hook it up, wrestle through the
maze of menus and gestures in order to remove the music that's on it.
The question I have is, if we were to sell it as is, would the buyer
be able to access any information, personal or otherwise, from the
device? or could they just delete the music and start from scratch?

Thanks

BJ
