Hi BJ.

It really depends on how you've customised your IPod and the information you've chosen to synchronise. What you need to remember is that the IPod Touch is an IOS device, and thus can contain information like contacts, bookmarks, email settings and a plethora of other things. Resetting the IPod is simple and highly recommended. Go to settings, general, reset and then choose to erase all content and settings. This will ensure that as well as any personal information, all music etc. are removed and the IPod is restored to factory settings just like it came out of the box ready for the new proud owner.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Subject: [access-uk] Ipod touch

Hi chaps,

Don't worry, I'm not trying to use this list to flog something, I just
want some advice before I go on to another list (or Ebay) to sell it.

We have an Ipod Touch, it has barely been used, but we just don't get
on with it. Now, I haven't the time to hook it up, wrestle through the
maze of menus and gestures in order to remove the music that's on it.
The question I have is, if we were to sell it as is, would the buyer
be able to access any information, personal or otherwise, from the
device? or could they just delete the music and start from scratch?

Thanks

BJ
