Every piece of software is sold with a clear specification of the system
requirements required to support the application, Jaws is no different. Given
that Jaws 10, 11 or whatever installs on 99% of customers pc's, then I would
suggest that the PC is not properly set up rather than there being a problem
with JAWS. Our tech support people spend hours on the phone looking after end
users who need support in the set up or use of our products -free of charge -
you will not get that with most other AT provider and certainly not from PC
world or even Microsoft.

Our objective is to help you all get the best from your software, we understand
it is important to you. You know where we are if you need help, but sometimes
the problems are not ours to solve - in those cases you have to get support
from your pc provider - that often when you find that you will not receive the
personal attention that we provide. You can buy the whole package from us, then
you can be sure it will be properly specified and will work out of the box.

Regards

Glenn

Are you seriously suggesting that every person purchasing Jaws as a known
screen reader checks out their system prior to purchase? I would like to
see the small print from FS stating this as a requirement then at least I
can go back to the education authority that purchased Jaws 10 for me and get
them to have my system checked out for compatability.
