Sorry George - It's a 3-year-old HP Pavillion laptop - Andy ----- Original Message ----- From: George Bell To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, June 08, 2011 4:56 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Jumping screen If it's an older CRT monitor, (as opposed to a flat screen) it may be that the Vertical Hold needs adjustment. Difficult to resolve without knowing exact make and model. Alternatively, or as well, check that the data cable is well seated. So for example, at boot up where the Microsoft logo appears, it keeps jumping and inch down screen, then back up. The cursor does the same, and so do the desk top icons etc. I hope this explains it clearly enough for somebody to tell me if this is a major problem, or something I can fix? - Andy
