Hi Eleanor. Neil has already said that he'll take a look at your phone and wayfinder for free. Either accept his offer and send the phones off to him or else just shut up. You've been wining on and on about this and I'm surprised Neil is even bothering with you as he is under no obligation to do so. In the meantime, I suggest you do as I have said and take it up directly with wayfinder or Steve who originally sold you the product. All the best, Ibrahim. ----- Original Message ----- From: Eleanor Burke To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, March 26, 2009 3:41 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Looking for Advice This morning I sent an e-mail to Steve at Computer Room Services. He replied that he is off on an exhibition to the Isle of Wyatt and that he has forwarded the problem to Neil Barnfather. Neil Barnfather wants me to send the phone and to foot the postage for both phones to him as I did not purchase from him. I do not see why I should have to pay postage for the phones as I am within one year of the purchase. I have passed this to Neil, because I am just about to leave for an exhibition at the Isle Of Wight, and won't be back until Saturday. You said: "I purchased Wayfinder Access from Computer Room Services and I cannot get it to work. Neil Barnfather tells me that there is no fault with my product because some months ago I began to say that I wanted my money back if my purchase was 'unsuitable for purpose'?" I'm wondering did you purchase from Computer Room Services and then seek support from TalkNav or is it a miss type as Steve Nutt owns Computer Room Services and Neil Barnfather owns TalkNav. At 14:56 26/03/2009, you wrote: Hi I purchased Wayfinder Access from Computer Room Services and I cannot get it to work. Neil Barnfather tells me that there is no fault with my product because some months ago I began to say that I wanted my money back if my purchase was 'unsuitable for purpose'? He said it was suitable for purpose and there was nothing wrong with it so I would not be legally entitled to a refund. I asked my lawyer friend and she said if it is not working I am entitled to a refund. I am interested to know on this list, if anyone has ever experienced a problem such as this with Wayfinder Access? Now before everyone starts to write saying that there is a list for discussing Wayfinder Access, the list is owned and controlled by Neil Barnfather and it is not therefore, in my opiniion, a list where I can actually discuss an issue such as this. I do however, believe, that Wayfinder Access is access technology and therefore am writing to this list. I am being told my code has expired. I removed and reinstalled the software but I get the same message. I am told by Computer Room Services that they have never known of a problem such as this before and are puzzled. They say that they have passed the matter to Neil Barnfather who tells me that I can send my phones to him and he will get it working for me but this involves me in additional expense. He also wants me to try it on one phone only but I do not wish to do this as I am under the impression, right or wrong, that the software can be put on more than one phone. It is a case of just using one phone at a time and not both simultaneously. I do not have this one year yet.
