Hi Folks, while we are on the topic of Nod32, I have the full security suite and it seems to be stopping J-Tools from running, probably because J-Tools uses lots of scripts/macros. Does anyone know how to tell the Eset software that J-Tools is ok to do it's thing?

Hi George, Well I've installed it and all seems fine. Strange that they offer several files for download then, if they will figure out for themselves which version you require - there are several different files listed but no explanation of them other than the file name. Oh well... Re Nod - I've been using Eset for the last year, and it was mostly fine though there were a couple of things I could never figure out. Now MSE exists and is free, I'm giving it a go. You could say you get what you pay for but enough people seem to be using MSE satisfactorily and I am reluctant to pay when free soolutions are available. In testing, we found two Trojans got past it, but didn't get past Nod. That'sgood enough for me. It will work out for itself what operating system it is being installed on during the installation. While David's issue is a worry, there may well be other reasons for it getting through. I've got it on all my office systems, plus many others I've installed both here and abroad. As I've said many times, if Microsoft mess this offering of their up, there will be a mass migration to Linux, and that will be the end of them. I've downloaded what I hope is the right version now. Ibrahim - the link you gave is very useful, thanks. It's pretty poor that they don't explain which file to download for which version of Windows, - they just give the file name - but I think I got the right one...we'll see... I'm slightly worried by the fact David got a virus whilst running MSE...still will give it a go... Catherine On 4/12/10, Ibrahim Gucukoglu <ibrahim_gucukoglu@xxxxxxxx> wrote:Hi Catherine.
