greetings, I am using K1000 v9.2 on my desktop windows98SE system, the Epson twain scanner is connected and the system sees it, K1000 has it listed as the scanner source, but when I attempt to scann, I get "runtime error '440' - automation error" so has anybody an idea how to get round this? I have in the past few weeks disconnected and reconnected the scanner several times, it is plugged into the USB *first* socket as it ought to be, there are no other USB devices connected to the system.
