David, I don't know if you receive the Infotech magazine, but Brian Hartgen did an excellent in-depth review of the Pocket this month during which he pointed out a number of irritations with the unit, as well as many points in its favour. The main irritations seemed to be the sluggishness when moving around in a Daisy book and the failure of the unit to speak the titles of audio files when moving through the menu structure. Does this new firmware version address either of these issues? I don't have a Pocket, and although I was thinking I might get one at some point, I don't think I would until these two drawbacks are sorted out. Thanks, Caroline.----- Original Message ----- From: "David Russell" <david.russell8@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

Mandy, In case you are unsure, you download the file onto your pc. It is anexecutable file, i.e. it ends with .exe so you find the file and press enter on it. run the file, and you will find one file. Copy this file to your sdcard and put it in the Pocket. Connect the power cable and turn on thepocket. It will say that it has found the file and you wait a minute or twountil it starts behaving as normal again. Then you are ready to rock.
