Hi Barbara and all -Barbara, I did this too, and had a go at producing an address label, but I'm not sure wiht what success as there's nobody about to ask.
Anyway, some kind of result happened, I didn't bother with the return to sender part of the label, tabbing instead to what I understand to be the "to" field on the label, and entered an address. When I scanned it back, some of the address was there, but some characters were missing, and it didn't look quite right, but that might have been the quality of the scan, I just don't know. This'll be great if it works -
I'm using the Epsom Stylus DX7400 printer/scanner, so hope I'm feeding in the label correctly, I just slide the paper adjuster across, having lined the label with the right hend edge of the feeder[this machine feeds from the back, with the print coming out face up]

AndyI tried saving it in the templates folder, but when I opened Word and went to File/New..., my label tamplate did not appear. So I simply saved the template in My Documents and Entered on it to open in MS Word. I haven't tried printing one yet, but I assume this will do the same as opening the template the way Clive described.Barbara Wilson M: 07917710779 T: 02887784046 E: barkingbabs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx IM: creativeeyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Skype: creativeeyes----- Original Message ----- From: "ANDY COLLINS" <Andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, March 26, 2009 5:25 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Printing on AFB labelsHi Jackie -Thanks for this suggestion, I'll give it a go if I come unstuck using the template Clive was so kind to forward; I am stuck with it at the monet, having not used templates before, and not sure how to use one under Word2007. I'm hoping Clive can get back to me on this, but am happy for anyboyd to chip in withs helpful ideas if they have any -Andy----- Original Message ----- From: "Jackie Cairns" <jackie.cairns@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, March 26, 2009 4:26 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Printing on AFB labelsHi Andy What I do is hold the AFB label as if I'm looking at it, that is, with the cut-off corner at the top left. I then lay it on my labels tray in that position on the printer. In Word, I simply type the address of the person to whom it is going, and centre the entire text. When the label comes out of my printer, it does so upside down, so when I turn it the right way up, the address is completely centred, and there is enough space at the top for the AFB logo to be displayed. I don't know if this helps you, but that's my method, and I've been doing it that for years. Has anybody achieved it? or can somebody with sufficient vision give me some guidelines for positioning an address using MSWord, so as to get the address in the correct place on the label; I'm imagining using landscape will be the way to go, but I'm unclear as to how many blank lines to leave, and how far in from the margin to begin, as I know there is already some writing on the AFB labels themselves, but don't know where about. I would also imagine it to be necessary to place the label to the right most edge of the papers feeder on my printer.
