Hi AndyGlad it has helped. I am very cautious about these sites that offer to scan your machine for you, for a small fee. It's not the paying for it I would object to so much as what it is looking for on your machine, and what it could ultimately install.

Thanks Jackie - I did do a bit of research on a comparison site, and RegCure came out tops for it's thoroughness; but you are right to be cautious, as Iunderstand some of the so-called cleaners actually install spyware! Anyway, I've now installed Ccleaner, and have just run it, and it seems to have reclaimed 1.8 GB of hard drive for me. I just left it set as it came, using it's default settings for the clean, so hope it's not removed anyentries I might need at some future point! So far, all seems well <smile> -Andy----- Original Message ----- From: "Jackie Cairns" <cairnsplace@xxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2008 10:02 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: RegCure registry cleaner | Hi Andy || Personally, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole nor any other one.
