      Mandy, go to the view menu, current view submenu and uncheck the item 
that says "group messages by conversation". It seems that you missed my message 
the first time I replied!

      I am still having problems where my emails are saying "collapsed" or 
sometimes "expanded" and I can't find the solution and disappointingly:  nobody 
has replied to this.
      Surely someone knows what I should do.  I've looked through the options 
of Outlook Express but anything I've altered there has made no difference at 
all.
